Hi, I'm Kim ...

Writing is one form of self-expression for me. I haven’t always written for public reading, but I’ve been a journaler for years, and even in my youth I dreamed of becoming a novelist.

​

But that isn’t the whole of me. At my core, I am a wife, a mom, a grammy, and a lover of God. Those are the pieces that ground me.

​

I am also a jewelry designer, a creative gardener and a health advocate. Over the years I’ve been fortunate to travel widely, and along the way I fell in love with my grandmother's homeland of Denmark and my family there. Because I am a watcher and a listener, I’ve developed love and curiosity for many things but especially  the ordinary moments and events that have become the post-it notes of my soul.

This website brings many of those pieces together. The books, photographs, creative work, the places I’ve loved, the stories and ideas I’ve collected along the way... well, many of those might just find a home here in one form or another.
